Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto has reportedly landed a six-figure sum to become the face of cosmetics giant Estee Lauder.

The Hollywood newcomer, who has taken the industry by storm since starring in the multiple Oscar-winning movie, has been approached to front the beauty company's future advertising campaigns, reports saif.

Pinto, who will become the brand's first Asian spokeswoman, is currently in negotiations over a $280,000 (200,000 pounds) contract.

Freida will follow in the footsteps of former Estee Lauder campaign girls Liz Hurley and Gwyneth Paltrow.
