The romantic liaison between Monica Bedi and Rahul Mahajan in the house of 'Big Boss' was nothing but a reel life drama.

 

Rahul had tried every trick to woo Monica Bedi in the show and thereby flaming rumours of a love affair between the two. But once evicted from the 'Big Boss' house, Rahul has now clarified his stand on Monica. Says he, "I am quite fond of Monica Bedi but she is not my fiancée." So that's a big sigh of relief for underworld don Abu Salem.

 

When asked wasn't it true that he ran out of the house just because Monica was not there, he says, "It's true that if Monica Bedi had been in the house, I wouldn't have jumped the wall and ran out of the show. But that doesn't mean I am in love with Monica.

 

I told you she is a great friend to be with. I am really very fond of her. She is a nice human being. It's just because we had some fun in the show people were under the impression that something exits between the two. But that's not true. I must say that I am fortunate to have a friend like Monica and I will preserve this friendship forever."

 

Rahul also clarifies that the running away episode from the 'Big Boss' house. "It was not a stage-managed thing to generate TRP. We four were really hungry and that's why we just jumped the wall and straight went to the market to have food," he says.

 

But why didn't he apologise? He answers, "I sacrificed the show for my other friends. I am happy if any one of the three contestants, left in the show, wins one crore. I am happy what I did in the show till my eviction. I would have easily apologised and remained in the show but I chose to go out."

 

Dismissing all the rumours of his reappearance in the 'Big Boss' house he says, "I will not go into the house again. I have decided and it's final. But if I get an opportunity to do 'Big Brother', I will love to do that."
